Upholstery

Even furniture deserves a second chance, especially when it means saving it from landfill.

We use traditional and modern techniques to breathe new life into your more retro or outdated pieces of furniture, re-imagining it so it stands the test of time as you change the surrounding spaces.

Whether it’s a treasured heirloom that needs a little TLC, or a favourite piece that’s fallen out of fashion with the other furnishings in the room, we can work with you to make sure its original flair remains as we make it current with your new home styles.

We offer headboard and footstool upholstery on a made to order basis, in any shapes and sizes, using the fabrics you select from our beautiful collection.

Re-designing the headboards and footstools in your home is not often the first thing you think of when changing your space, but it can be really impactful and add that extra pop of colour that brings together your interior plans and ideas.

EXPLORE THE PROCESS
I completely refurbished a 5 bedroom Georgian farm house in Devon over an 8 month timeframe whilst living and working full time in London. I simply could not have achieved this without Penny and her fantastic team. Penny’s enthusiasm, skill, style and unrivalled knowledge of the intricacies of interior design have led to the creation of a beautiful, comfortable and inviting home for me and my family in Devon. Penny worked with me to ensure that I got what I wanted whilst avoiding expensive mistakes. Her advice was invaluable & her keen eye not just for detail, but the bigger picture about how each room would look has resulted in the use of a harmonious colour pallet throughout the home without sacrificing the individual character of each of the rooms within it. I would happily recommend her to anyone. She is a real “find”.

I recently moved out of home and into my own flat. I knew that one of the things that would make it feel like it was my place was some lovely curtains. I was worried that I didn’t know anything about fabric choice or even what sort of curtains would suit the space. However as soon as I met Penny, I stopped worrying. She was great She advised me on what to choose & what style would work best in each room. She even put me in touch with an excellent London based curtain fitter who came & hung them for me. I will definitely be back for more when I can afford to moved again. Bur until then, I’m delighted with how things have turned out.

“Penny put the wow into our house. She was wonderful to work with. We sort of knew what we wanted but had no idea how to get there. Her understanding of what fabrics work together coupled with her professionalism and ability to connect with our style inspired complete confidence. She encouraged us to take the first step in what became an exciting whole house project. Penny was the best advocate. We would have been completely lost on our own. “
