Area II Opt-in and Opt-out Services
AGEHR Area II distributes its primary communication services through the
World Wide Web via the Internet. As a result, the organization has adopted a
number of practices and processes to promote electronic communication whilst
not inducing significant nor unwanted communication on its subscribers.
Opt-in and Opt-out services are offered to new or renewing members of the
American Guild of English Handbell Ringers who (a) reside within the geograpic region
comprised of New Jersey, New York,Pennsylvania and Ontario, and (b) provide an
Email address to which electronic communications may be sent.
Services are also offered to other subscribers who wish to register their
profile and Email addresses directly with Area II. This allows past members
who may move to adjacent states, those who may have retired and moved some
distance from Area II, and those who are
interested in handbells but not registered as a member of AGEHR, or who may have
an abiding interest in handbells and want to receive our communications.
For more information, please click on the link at the bottom of this page to

communication items they wish to receive from Area II. Please note that opt-in
services are available through this web site and therefore only apply to
electronic communications.
Communication items offered include:

Festival Conferences and the Young Ringers Conferences
that are held every other year on odd years. Coverage also includes the
Vacation Vibrations Conferences that are held every other year
on even years. Conferences are held at conveniently located campuses
throughout Area II and are offered to teach, educate, and train ringers, and
to offer a large bell concert environment for attendees. Distributions
are approximately one or two times per year.
Workshop Communications are offered periodically througout the year.
Workshops allow gathering of multiple directors and ringers to evaluate and
experience new musical selections available for local repertoire.
